Theologian R.C. Sproul maintains that the reason life in the womb is so valuable – why there is dignity assigned to every human being – is that we are made in God’s image. His imprint gives life its dignity.
When God prints his image on a human creature, that image is precious and sacred. It is almost like a tiny self-portrait He is painting in the womb. When someone willfully assaults that sacred space, while God is fashioning together human life, He considers it an assault upon Himself and His creative prerogative.

The former synagogue at Ransom and Fountain
The stately building at the corner of Ransom and Fountain was originally built as a synagogue in 1881. Then the Greek Orthodox Church held services there for many years, followed by a variety of other uses, until the largest abortion provider in western Michigan settled in, killing 20,000 babies over a 10-year period.
“The building – originally created to be a church — was turned into an abortion facility,” says Kurt Dillinger, the founder and president of LIFE International, an organization that establishes life-giving ministries wherever abortion is provided around the world.
The National Black Pro-Life Coalition (NBPLC), pro-life leaders from across the United States, is demanding an investigation of Planned Parenthood for criminal negligence and depraved indifference in the death of Tonya Reaves — a 24 year-old pregnant mother who entered the Planned Parenthood Loop Health Center abortion unit in Chicago, Illinois on Friday, July 20th, 2012. Tonya Reaves died later that evening following the botched abortion that reportedly perforated her uterus.

Pro-life activists confront abortionist
Abortion doctor Ashutosh Ron Virmani referred to the black children that he kills as “ugly black babies.” Excuse me? It’s all too obvious that he has a particular disgust for black babies and therefore has no problems killing them.”
In the astonishment surrounding Chen Guangcheng’s extraordinary escape from house arrest, let us not forget why he was arrested: in
blind activist with family
2006 Chen exposed the Chinese government’s systematic, massive use of forced abortion and involuntary sterilization to enforce its “One Child Policy.” Women’s Rights Without Frontiers (WRWF) obtained a copy of Chen’s field notes and we released the first English translation of these notes at a Congressional Hearing on December 6, 2011. One of America’s brightest young basketball stars almost wasn’t born, after his mother was scheduled to have him aborted. But a last minute prayer – and a timely answer from God – spared the life of Javale McGee, who has gone on to play for the Washington Wizards, and currently, the Denver Nuggets.
The story of Javale’s near-brush with abortion made its unlikely appearance this week in Sports Illustrated magazine.

In an interview with the German Catholic news agency Kath.net this week, actress Rachel Hendrix, who stars in the box office hit ‘October Baby’ said, “Every human life is created in the Divine image, it is unique and we should fight for it.”
Despite the sensitive subject matter of the film, which touches on abortion with a pro-life message of ‘Every Life is Beautiful,’ the film has startled critics with strong box office showings.

baby in the womb
A clergy committee of Planned Parenthood is calling for “40 days of prayer and contemplation” on behalf of abortion. The initiative mirrors the “40 Days for Life” campaign that opposes the practice.
Among the prayer points are “for the families we’ve chosen,” and it encourages prayer in celebration of abortion, abortion doctors, and for “a cloud of gentleness to surround every abortion facility.”

40 days for life participants
During the “40 Days for Life campaign,” we are aware of at least 352 babies who have been saved from abortion! Here are just a few of the great reports of the Lord’s victories.
In Nashville, 40 Days for Life vigil participants watched as a car pulled up to the abortion center. A woman got out — while a man and three small children waited in the parking lot.

EDINBURGH, U.K. — Judgment was handed down today in the case of two senior midwives from Glasgow who have a conscientious objection to abortion. The midwives have been told that they must accept the decision of their hospital management that they must oversee other midwives performing abortions on the labour ward.
Lady Smith, judge in the Court of Session in Edinburgh, ruled that the senior midwives’ role is not covered by the conscience clause in the Abortion Act.
