Brief History In May of 1950, approximately 100 pastors and missionaries were led of God to begin a new fundamental, missionary, Baptist movement that would emphasize a worldwide church planting ministry. A simple fellowship of pastors was formed. In the years that have passed since those early days, it has grown dramatically; HOWEVER, it has never deviated from the purpose for which it was founded; to train, equip and support people for the ministry of establishing local Baptist churches around the world. Today, those original 100 have grown into the largest independent Baptist Missionary organization in the world.

Pray against the influence of spiritist mediums and witches, as well as materialism, self-centeredness and alcohol and drug abuse. Pray for many to be released from cults and the occult and for discerning Christian leaders able to effectively expose false doctrines. Pray for a renewing work of the Holy Spirit in the Roman Catholic Church, in which many are opened to the illumination of the Scriptures, freed from traditionalism and introduced to a warm personal relationship with Jesus. Pray that God may grant wisdom, unity and faith to Evangelicals, as well as an increased burden for world missions. Pray for more Christian leaders to be raised up with adequate theological depth and spiritual maturity. Pray for perseverance, cultural adaptation and fruitfulness for expatriate missionaries.
