Why Germany? The Lost can be found everywhere and not just in a third world country. Lost people have jobs, a place to live and seem self-sufficient. Sometimes we fail to view these people as a mission field. God wants to make His love known to all people! Europe is filled with churches– often empty, abandoned or converted into museums, clubs, restaurants and shops. Take away the beautiful church buildings and you’ll be hard-pressed to see any hints of Christianity. Sadly, most Europeans do not have a life-changing relationship with Jesus or know anyone who does. Together we will see what is in store for reaching the lost in Germany.
ABWE is a spiritually empowered family of servants committed to glorifying God by calling the nations to worship Him. We follow Christ’s command to make disciples among all the “ethne” (people groups) everywhere. As ambassadors for Christ representing our sending and supporting churches, we evangelize, make disciples, and train pastors and church leaders.
acci exists for the purpose of attracting, equipping, sending, and serving the vision of effective leaders…
We have taken over 100,000 people into the mission field, some for as short as a week and others for as long as a year or longer. In several places around the world we minister year-round to “the least of these”. We believe that by giving people the opportunity to hold orphans, bring hope to the hopeless, and pray for the sick, lives are transformed.
We seek to disciple as Jesus did; our vision is that God would use us to raise up a generation of radically committed disciples of Jesus Christ.
Serving with international partners to strengthen the church and advance the Gospel worldwide. For over 20 years we have worked with churches and leaders who have sought our help. We develop ministries wherever we have the resources and competencies to serve responsibly, as God calls us, and where the needs of Christian witness are not adequately served.
Brief History In May of 1950, approximately 100 pastors and missionaries were led of God to begin a new fundamental, missionary, Baptist movement that would emphasize a worldwide church planting ministry. A simple fellowship of pastors was formed. In the years that have passed since those early days, it has grown dramatically; HOWEVER, it has never deviated from the purpose for which it was founded; to train, equip and support people for the ministry of establishing local Baptist churches around the world. Today, those original 100 have grown into the largest independent Baptist Missionary organization in the world.

Every Home for Christ is an international missions organization dedicated to the Great Commission. We believe that Jesus tasked us—His Church—to reach all people in every nation with the Gospel and to disciple them in His ways. Since 1946, Every Home for Christ has remained on a steady committed course toward this vision. In over 130 nations, we are actively equipping the local church to reach the lost with the Gospel and make disciples. The strategy is simple: Everybody lives somewhere, so just go where people live and systematically share the Gospel home to home. The results are incredible. In the last 5 years alone, we have reached over 400 million homes and followed-up to disciple over 70 million people who have responded to the Gospel.

Since its beginning, IMB has had one goal — bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost peoples of the world. At the first Southern Baptist Convention in 1845, the Foreign Mission Board (FMB) was founded as part of “one sacred effort, for the propagation of the Gospel.” Southern Baptist churches believed that by working cooperatively, they could accomplish more for God’s kingdom. That belief still stands strong today.
China was FMB’s first foreign mission field. In its early decades, the denomination’s missionary efforts grew slowly throughout China and into Africa. The Civil War and the South’s economy made support difficult, and FMB was hampered by debt between 1861 and 1943. Significant growth in overseas work did not occur until after World War II.
Empowered by an enlarged worldview and the support of the Cooperative Program, which was founded in 1925, Southern Baptists responded with 1,000 missionaries serving in 1955. In the 1960s, FMB initiated new opportunities for people to answer the call to foreign missions, through programs such as Missionary Associates and Journeyman.
IMB has shifted focus from geographic countries to people groups, with a concerted effort to start church-planting movements among unreached peoples. Technological advances have provided unprecedented opportunities for missionaries to spread the Gospel, and Southern Baptists have reached into areas previously considered forbidden by political barriers.
In just one year’s time, field personnel shared the message of Jesus with 1.7 million people and started 6,200 churches.* Each year, the number of unreached people groups who have been given access to the Gospel through IMB’s efforts increases.
“Not only do I believe in the role of institutions in sustaining a movement, I believe in this institution sustaining a movement of local churches planting churches around the world,” says IMB President David Platt.
IMB’s history continues and strategies to reach the world change as the world changes. What has not changed is the strong commitment of Southern Baptists to join the Author of history in His redemptive movement to advance His Gospel among all peoples.
